After the parents agreed on the removal of the life support, the doctors as well decided to remove the life support. It was been given that they will remove the life support on a decided date and time. Archie is a young 12year old boy who was living with his parents and back in April he was home alone and scrolling through his mobile. When his parents returned back home they found Archie unconscious and they rushed him to the nearby Royal London Hospital. The family used to live in Southend, Essex, United Kingdom. It was found out that Archie was doing a TikTok challenge when he accidentally strangled himself with the shoelace while he was doing the Blackout challenge on TikTok and he fainted. When his parents came they rushed him to the hospital and after which Archie was getting treated. Since then Archie is on life support.

Archie strangled himself in April and after that, he is in the hospital getting treated. Back in June, it was been told that his life support of Archie was about to be removed, but Archie’s parents requested the hospital staff to not do so. They even appealed in the court not to remove the life support that is holding their life’s child. But the doctors confirmed that Archie will no longer survive and that he is already brain dead. The doctors gave out that Archie is dead, but his parents confirmed that he is alive because he was holding on to his mother’s hand and his heart was beating. While the two of them were trying hard to save the life of their child the doctors said that the child will be gone and the life support should be turned off, but the parents appealed and applied a request in the court to keep their child on the life support. Eventually, it was given out by the court this month that the life support on which Archie was relying should be turned off. The court also said that it is in the best interest of the child to switch off the life support that the child is relying on. This decision will soon be implied and the life support will be removed as a result of the orders of the court. Archie’s parents were heartbroken by the decision of the court, but they eventually agreed in removing the life support of the child. They decided that they will let the doctors remove the life support and that they will see the child one last time before removing the life support.
