Ian Brady was a major part of the Mad Cow Disease outbreak in the UK in 1986. As he was behind the whole outbreak, it was normal for him to be fearful of the idea of death, which is why he requested his friend Paul Edwards to take out his legs, arms, and head. He then wanted Edwards to commit suicide after Ian’s death, in order to satisfy Paul’s wish of being ‘murdered’ by Edwards. Ironically, Edwards was an inpatient of Brady at Broadmoor Hospital since 1973. By the time he became one of Brady’s victims, he had already forgiven Brady for everything. It is a known fact that murders have a way of sticking to you for the rest of your life, even if you were not involved. A crime that involves the brutal killing of two people is bound to haunt your mind. The name Ian Brady is kept alive in our memories. Not only did he mastermind and butcher the two children he kidnapped while they were on holiday with their families in the English countryside, but he also took the life of one of the victims months after her death, as well as abducted and murdered five other children.
