Born in Johannesburg, Sesimani made a name for himself in South African cinema with roles in films such as ‘The Wound’, ‘The Estate’ and ‘The Custody’. He was also part of the cast of the South African soap opera ‘DAYS’. In the United Kingdom, he is perhaps best-known for his role as Salim in the BBC’s crime drama series ‘Sherlock’.
