Who Is Kosoul Chanthakoummane?
Several reports found that there were blood and traces of Kosoul’s DNA being found in her nails of Sarah. However, when the case was filed and the attorneys were fighting the case, Kosoul’s attorneys were sure that Kosoul was getting trapped in the case but later they revealed that the accused was trying to rob Sarah but it turned into a criminal case as he killed her when things got out of hand. Kosoul was earlier on parole for two cases that he committed in different cities. Kosoul was jailed when he was caught and now he was injected with lethal injection on Wednesday after 15 minutes of the injection getting in his body, he stopped breathing and was pronounced dead. He was on a 16-year-old long sentence and now finally is life taken as a result of the punishment.

This was Texas’s busiest penalty state and the second execution that took place this year. When he was getting executed, Kosoul said that he was thankful to all the people in his life who aided him in his journey and he thanked Jesus for providing him with life. He added that he prays that his death will bring peace to his family members. No one from his family came to his execution except his mother who was standing away and looking through a window. Lastly when he was about to get injected Kosoul said that he loves his mother while looking out the window and he said amen to the prayers that the chants that the Buddhist monk was praying on his right side. When the lethal injection was injected he took four long breaths and gasped in a slighter tone.

He then showed no movement and after a time gap of 15 minutes, he was pronounced dead. In the last moments of his life, Kosoul accepted that he was wrong. When he killed Sara, he stabbed her 30 times in her chest. Kosoul was given 5 grams of a powerful sedative called Pentobarbital which started slowly flowing through his veins. Sarah’s case went on for years and the case was finally closed when the execution was given to the accused. Sarah’s father died last year fighting for getting his daughter justice. Sarah was having two children whom she loved. Sarah’s father as well died last year and he said that he forgave the killer of her daughter.
